Emerging Artists at the Edge

Introducing Exceptional Young Artists

Emerging Artists at the Edge is a new initiative for 2008. We are delighted to introduce the first Music at Eden’s Edge Emerging Artist, violinist Joshua Peckins of Boxford, who will perform in “June Classically Discovered.”

A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, Joshua has performed as a chamber musician in Boston, Paris and has performed in the “From the Top” radio program.  He is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in violin performance at the Yale University School of Music. 

Emerging Artists at the Edge is a mentoring program for gifted young professionals. Joshua will have professional responsibilities for three performances with Music at Eden’s Edge’s member performers while sharing as a colleague in their performance experience.

Training and experience in music are handed down one-on-one, artist to new artist.  We are delighted to have Joshua playing as part of our ensemble as he prepares for an exciting and promising career.
